New Look. Same Product.

Old Look. Same Product

What is the gelatin made from?

The outside gelatin is made from cow hide (bovine source). The gelatin ingredient is pharmaceutical-grade quality and is certified BSE free.

What is the EPA & DHA omega-3 fatty acid contents per softgel?

Each Pure Alaska Omega Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil softgel contains 1000mg or 1g of salmon oil and naturally occurring omega-3 fatty acids. EPA+DHA omega-3s are present in their natural state and correspond directly to the levels found in fresh caught wild Salmon swimming in Alaskan waters.

DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) content for this product is 110mg/softgel or 220mg/serving, and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) content is 90 mg/softgel or 180mg/serving, these levels vary just as they do in nature. The total omega-3 fatty acid value listed on the product label is 300mg/softgel or 600mg/serving.

Is this product mercury free?

Yes. This fish oil product is made from wild Alaska Salmon fish. These fish are naturally low in mercury and heavy metals. Routine testing is conducted on the extracted salmon oil to verify safety. USP tests this product to verify it is free of mercury and other contaminants as part of the USP Dietary Supplement Verification Program. No refining or purification needed; mercury is not present to begin with.

What does "Extra-Virgin" mean?

"Extra-Virgin" refers to minimal processing compared to highly refined fish oils which go through many steps to alter fish oil beyond the initial oil extraction step. Our unique "cold pressed" process gently separates all lipid fractions of wild Salmon fish. What you are left with is an edible salmon oil that contains all the lipid soluble vitamins and fatty acids found in wild salmon along with astaxanthin – which gives this oil a beautiful orange color. No chemical refining is used in the making of this oil; it is fit for consumption as soon as it is extracted. All fatty acids present in this oil remain in their natural triglyceride form (nTG) which are recognized by your body as easy-to-absorb.

What is the vitamin E antioxidant made from?

The vitamin E antioxidant used to preserve the freshness of the salmon oil is derived from plant-based materials. The vitamin E supplier states this ingredient is hypoallergenic and the plants which it is derived from (soy, canola, and/or corn) are triple distilled so no protein is detected after processing.

Does this product contain allergens?

Pure Alaska Omega salmon oils are extracted in U.S. FDA (United States Food & Drug Administration) inspected, food-grade, dedicated salmon processing facilities. Salmon is the only allergen in this product.

Contains: Fish Oil (from Salmon)

is listed on the back of the product bottle under the ingredients section.

If you have any concerns about allergens, please consult with your doctor/physician before taking this product.

Why does my new product bottle look different, is the product formula the same?
